Digital Literacy Project

In today's increasingly digital world, understanding how to use public serving applications has become essential. While younger generations are often more familiar with these technologies, many older individuals face challenges in adapting to the new ways of the world.

Recognising the importance of bridging this generational gap, we at 13to19 took the initiative to help the older generation learn about applications like Ola, Zepto, Dunzo, Google Pay and Swiggy for their further convenience.

An online session with individuals over the age of 50 was conducted to teach these adults on the new trending applications of today. Over 50 people attended this meeting and it was conducted in Kannada to be able to connect with them easily. They were specifically happy with us on this factor and appreciated us on increasing digital literacy among seniors, enabling them to engage confidently with new technologies.

The older adults were thankful to us for improving their communication and social connections between younger and older generations stating that they didn’t feel helpless anymore in front of their kids!
