Emotional Empowerment : A live session with Parul Malik

Developing self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, interpersonal skills, and responsible decision-making are all essential aspects of emotional empowerment. It involves seeing life as a collection of experiences to embrace rather than an endless list of problems to solve. To better understand the importance of setting priorities for ourselves, the 13to19 team organised a live online Zoom session with Ms. Parul Malik, a Life Skills and Empowerment Coach.
In our everyday lives, we often tend to focus on the negatives of a situation rather than the positives. However, Mrs. Malik helped us understand that acknowledging the positives is also beneficial and helps us overcome challenges more easily. The session drew participation from over 50 individuals. The lesson emphasised how crucial life skills are in enabling people to navigate and flourish in various aspects of life.
It's worth noting that there is no age limit to acquiring a broad range of abilities that support personal growth, relationships, and overall well-being. Therefore, participants of different age groups joined this session and quickly connected with Ms. Malik. Working with someone like Ms. Malik was an incredible learning experience and a true honour.
