"Giving is not about making a donation; It's about making a difference."

In an effort to have a positive impact on the neighbourhood, 13to19 planned and executed a fundraiser to raise funds for our project "Blankets of Hope: Providing Warmth to the Needy".

 

The objective was to raise money to buy warm blankets for those in need during the chilly winter. Members of our team contributed their time, talent, and expertise to the campaign. In order to draw donations and raise money, on the 10th and 11th of December at N.M Krishna Rao, Bangalore and Lalbagh West Gate, Bangalore respectively, we sold a variety of goods like handcrafted cards, bookmarks, candles, chocolates and cookies.

 

The response from the community was overwhelming. People showed immense support and generosity by purchasing our handmade products and making donations. Their contributions not only helped us reach our financial goal but also served as a testament to the caring nature of our community. The funds raised during the event enabled us to purchase a substantial number of warm blankets.

 

We appreciate everyone who helped with our fundraiser, whether it was by making purchases or by offering words of support. Together, we made a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need, providing them not only with physical warmth but also with a sense of care and compassion.
